December 2024: The hydroelectric power plant was successfully completed.
October 2024: The water pipes were completely installed and connected. In the video, you can see the pipes being flushed before they are put into service.
February 2024: Installation of the water pressure pipeline to complete the hydroelectric power plant.
February 2022: Completion of the utility connection line. Work was also carried out on the water pressure line.
August 2021: The hydroelectric power plant was successfully completed; we are now waiting for ENEL to connect it to the grid.
June 2021: Construction work on the hydroelectric power plant remains on schedule. The turbine has been delivered and is now being installed. You can see the current status in the gallery.

March 2020: Construction Begins on the Codolo Hydroelectric Power Plant
Project Information
In Codolo, located in Tuscany near the Focetto project, the Ranft Group has begun construction of another pressure pipeline power plant. The existing conditions can be described as absolutely ideal. The project will utilize an existing pressurized water pipeline that transports drinking water and spans a 600-meter elevation difference over a length of 4.5 km. According to the latest calculations, the power plant will generate approximately 2.4 million kWh per year once fully operational.
