Dear Investors,
It's hard to believe, but the first half of 2026 is already behind us. The past few months have been marked by numerous advances for the Ranft Group in Germany, Italy, and Austria. We’ve been able to further expand our activities, particularly in the area of battery storage. With a battery storage pipeline of approximately 1 gigawatt, we’re laying the foundation for a flexible and sustainable energy infrastructure. In this report, we’ll update you on the latest developments in selected projects as well as key progress within our corporate group.
We sincerely thank you for your trust and hope you enjoy reading this.
Sincerely, Michael Ranft, Andrea Ranft, and Rainer Zepke
EEN PROJECTS IN GERMANY
Wolf's Den
Together with a project partner, the Ranft Group is building a photovoltaic system with a green energy storage facility in Wolfsloch near Helmstadt-Bargen (Baden-Württemberg). The PV system, with a capacity of approximately 8 MWp, has already been installed and has been feeding electricity into the public grid since June 1, 2026. The addition of a green energy storage system is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026 and will increase both the project’s profitability and the flexibility of grid feed-in. As expected, there was enormous interest from investors. In a very short time, we had reserved all plant components through our sales partner Ohana and are now in the process of implementing the contractual framework of the Ranft Group’s investor model, which has been successfully established and further developed since 2009. Additional transactions in Germany, Italy, and Austria are already in the works.

Westeregeln
Green Energy Storage – A positive grid assessment has already been received for the planned battery storage facility (2 MW capacity, 4.5 MWh storage capacity). The building permit application has been submitted and is currently being processed by the relevant district office. The storage facility is planned for a designated area within the solar park.
Graustrom Storage – The preliminary building permit application for the battery storage project in Westeregeln, with a planned capacity of 6 MW, has since been approved. This means the key regulatory requirements for implementing the project have been met. Further preparations for implementation are currently underway, particularly detailed technical planning and coordination with the project partners involved. The storage facility is scheduled to go online in the third quarter of 2027. With this project, the Ranft Group is strengthening its activities in the field of grid-supporting energy storage and creating additional flexibility for the integration of renewable energy into the power system.
Gerwisch
A positive grid assessment has now been received for the photovoltaic project in Gerwisch, which has a planned capacity of 6 MWp. This marks an important milestone for the project’s further development. Currently, the next planning steps are being prepared and the necessary approval processes are being advanced. In addition to the photovoltaic system, the construction of a battery storage facility with a capacity of 4 MW is planned. The combination of solar energy and storage technology will improve the grid integration of renewable energy and create additional flexibility for marketing the electricity generated.
Resolution on the Bylaws for Holzkirchen
The municipal resolution for the photovoltaic project in Holzkirchen (10 MWp) has now been adopted. With this, the municipality has established the planning-law requirements for implementing the project. The municipal resolution represents an important milestone in the project’s development and enables the continuation of further approval and planning steps on the path to construction readiness.
EEN PROJECTS IN ITALY
The Ranft Group has reached another important milestone in its international project business: The Serragarofalo solar project in Sicily has been successfully sold. The project consists of a ground-mounted photovoltaic plant with a capacity of approximately 4.68 MWp and is located in the province of Syracuse.
Construction has already begun, and the grid connection is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. With a projected annual output of approximately 2,011 kWh/kWp, the project benefits from particularly attractive site conditions. The property is owned by the developer, which ensures long-term planning certainty.
EEN PROJECTS IN AUSTRIA
Wimsbach (Austria)
The Wimsbach project involves the development of a ground-mounted photovoltaic plant with a planned capacity of 2 MWp. Two key milestones have already been achieved: Both the required grid connection commitment and the land-use designation have been secured. The grid connection approval confirms the possibility of subsequently feeding the generated electricity into the public power grid and thus represents a key prerequisite for the project’s implementation. Furthermore, the land-use designation has established the legal basis under planning law for using the site for this energy project. The project is currently undergoing the ELWG (Electricity Industry and Organization Act) procedure. In Austria, this represents an important additional approval step for energy facilities and is comparable in significance to key stages of a German approval process. The ongoing procedure lays the groundwork for further project development and subsequent implementation.
