Over the years, we have developed numerous projects in the fields of photovoltaics and hydropower. This has led to the creation of a valuable network of business and project partners in Germany and Italy. We benefit from this network in combination with an entrepreneurial mindset. We successfully entered the photovoltaics market in 2008. In doing so, we expanded our traditional real estate business to include solar energy, which is now a central component of our operations . With the highly acclaimed completion of the 12 MW Pocking II solar park, the Ranft Group established itself in the photovoltaics sector.

As the deployment of photovoltaic and wind power plants continues to expand, there is a growing need to efficiently store excess energy and make it available as needed. Battery energy storage systems (BESS) make it possible to smooth out the volatile feed-in of renewable energy and ensure grid stability. They are therefore a key component of a sustainable and reliable energy supply.

The Ranft Group made a successful entry into the hydropower sector with the modernization of the existing Boves power plant in the province of Cuneo in Piedmont. Over the years, various hydropower plants were added in Val Fegana, Pallanzeno, Cortina, Saluzzo, Focetto, and Druogno. Here, it is primarily the drinking water power plants that ensure sustainable and stable value retention.
