June 2024: The Ranft Group has received a grid connection commitment from TERNA.

The Ranft Group is developing a large-scale energy storage facility with a capacity of 100 MWh on its own property in Priolo (Sicily). The project is located directly adjacent to the substation of the transmission system operator TERNA, where grid services will be provided. Priolo is a major industrial hub in southwestern Sicily. The grid connection request has already been submitted. Additional large-scale energy storage projects are in the works. We will keep you updated.
